Won't join BJP, am with Anna Hazare: former army chief General VK Singh-Pheku ka Pheku bhakt

Mainpuri:  Former army chief General (Retired) VK Singh today ruled out joining BJP ahead of the Lok Sabha elections saying that he is with social activist Anna Hazare in his crusade against corruption.

"I am with Anna Hazare to fight corruption in the country. I am not joining BJP," said the ex-army chief, who was in Mainpuri to attend a function.

General Singh said the government should ensure that black money stashed in foreign banks is brought back to the country as it would help in development and eradication of poverty. He also said it was necessary to check the flow of money on foreign education.

The ex-army chief said it was the need of the hour to check entry of people with criminal background in politics.

General (Retd) Singh, who recently shared dais with BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi at a rally in Haryana, however, parried questions on the coal blocks allocation scam.
